Who We Are
This coalition charter is established to formalize the collaborative efforts of voluntarily participating organizations in addressing our aligned purpose.
King County Homeless Youth and Young Adult Service Providers (KCHYYASPC) represents the primary agencies serving youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in King County.

Our Purpose

A platform for executive level leaders and staff to share critical information, trainings and resources, coordinate an advocacy and best practice agenda, and be an organized voice to partners, philanthropists, and other allies on critical positions that impact our collective mission.

To map our local YYA system to the national models (NNY, USICH), identify gaps, conduct equity and power analysis, and identify action steps to address such through an equity lens (i.e., specific advocacy action steps, grant proposals, etc.).

To establish an annual work plan for our Coalition (i.e., program and system-level advocacy, proposals, etc.).

To reflect and review operational and systemic trends, as well as our roles and accountability within the Coalition and external systems.
